Nigel Cabourn Authentic Dark Navy Fox Brothers Donkey Jacket AW16 NWT Size 52 (XL)
Taking a vintage coal man’s Donkey Jacket from the 1950’s as his inspiration,
Nigel has reinterpreted this iconic piece of British workwear again for AW16. This season’s version,
which is slightly longer in length than previous designs, is made in Fox Bros wool and retains
all the traditional features of the jacket, such as the boxy shape, patch pockets and single breasted
fastening but instead of leather features Army Duck canvas with a hybrid wax finish on the back, shoulders
and sleeves. The finish on this fabric is a unique lighter application of wax that gives this fabric a drier feel
than standard waxed finishes. Made in England. Original retail price £800.
