I'd also second the wholecut...but not in the dark brown colour... the loafer is also nice....funny that the models differ so much in beauty.... if I look at G&G pics I would almost take all the shoes

If I had more dough, I'd get Scafora bespoke over just about anything else. I think the shoes look wonderful, and they are very attractively priced.

How much does a MTM cost?

I looked into it when I was flush with cash and was told:

Goodyear Welt: $1600
Norvegese Welt: $1800
Bentivegna Welt: $2000
Additional charge for cordovan.

This is bespoke, not MTM, and includes trees. They make a trial shoe. First shoe takes around six months.

They start from 600 Euros to 1200

Much beautiful work, although no beveled waists or (as far as I can tell) fiddlebacks. Of course, for $1,600, one can settle for a perfect fit.

He can do a bevelled waist on request, and he comes next to NYC in mid-Feb
