Piece of crap camera, my good one is loaned out to my brother in law. Sorry.

Also couldn't be bothered to put on an evening shirt and studs and all that jazz. Sorry again.

So then it is correct if the vest does not show at all when the jacket is buttoned?

Yes, I wanted side vents. Not traditional I know, but I have a DB tux that is unvented, so I wanted something different.

Yeah, that would seem to be so. I kind of like it like that.

I like the look, probably makes it more comfortable too. That is a very well-tailored garment, what is your drop if you don't mind me asking?

It's very deceptively flattering, I actually gained 10 pounds last year, some of it since I was measured for this. My drop right now is really not that huge at all. I hope to lose the weight in the first half of this year.

Nice tux. I was actually looking for something similar in terms of the low cut vest (with full back).
Do you think Chan will do just a custom vest for me, if so, how much that might set me back?
I was also thinking going to Chan to make me a tux shirt, did you also get the tux shirt from Chan?

But this is clearly a black tie outfit.

Wait, are you guys talking about the vest showing at the top or at the bottom when the jacket is closed? I would assume that, as with white tie, the vest should not peek out below the jacket. As for showing above, I am less sure, but would have assumed that you'd want to show it off at least a little bit. I could just be used to seeing the horrid prom-style high-cut brightly colored vests though.
