So these are my first REAL pair of dress shoes. I really do not have a bunch of money to be spending on different types. What I would like is 1 pair of shoes that will get me by until I can afford to upgrade my collection. I hate to admit but I do not even have a suit/jacket to go with them yet (I will be getting one when I slim down, sometime in the summer)

What I need is a pair of shoes that I can wear to interviews and work. I need a pair of shoes that I can wear out for a night on the town. I do not do many formal daytime things, and I am usually never at upscale parties unless it's an occasional wedding.

I don't know a lot about shoes but it seems ferragamo is a great brand.

I found some on ebay and there is a sale on ebay for fashion so I can get them for a great deal.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SALVATO...643358?hash=item281c7cf61e:g:hAYAAOSwayZXjEDz

These are the 2 pairs I have found so far (I am size 11), from what I understand I am guessing most of you will recommenced the toe caps as they are a better "all around" shoe, but I'm not sure.

Should I continue searching for a plain oxford? Are there any other brands on ebay you guys can reccomend other than ferragamos?

If you wanna be really nice, find me a nice pair of size 11s? I am dead set on black.

Slow down.

You are comparing D width to EEE width shoes. In the US , E is the standard width.

Almost assuredly, neither of those is likely to fit all that well.

Don't shop on Ebay for your first shoes. Made that mistake and lost a few hundred €€€ in the process of figuring out my actual size/width and what lasts fit me well.

Go to a shoe store and try on what they have. What country are you from?

From America...I'll go to Macy's or hit up Nordstrom when I get time.
