1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I read somewhere that I am big in spirit so I can hardly begrudge a rat refuge when his ship sinks. Welcome aboard.
Don't blame me. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.

Actually, I think I did make that rule... but you get my point.

Thanks for the warm welcome. What's on the agenda?

I propose a club uniform: cream linen double-breasted suits for all.

    Drape or no drape?

    Shawl collar 4x1 ?

    I believe I could easily steam that into a 3.5 x 1.5

    Drape or no drape?

We shall call everything drape, complain that it is not the way drape is supposed to be, and resolve that it is both more and less American to wear it.

    I believe I could easily steam that into a 3.5 x 1.5

This is precisely why I presently propose an irrevocable ban on all steam. Otherwise, we'll all wind up in shapeless 1.5-breasted 2.33-button suits with exploding seams and droopy lapels.

Every club needs a bore. They are a cherished part of the landscape.

I see the role is already in much demand, but lets not be hasty or look like we want the position too badly.

I refuse to believe I have any real challengers. Small-timers, I tell you.

    This club sounds very gay.

Count me in, though I'm thinking that we'll have quite a cross-membership between this and the Pink Dolphin Society.

By all means. Your kind is as necessary as the bore and much more fun to have around. We need some sob rosa types as well. We probably have a few already, but the nature of the beast is that I don't know who they are.

It did; though, in all fairness, we've had Delphinus Delphinum Lavat since at least March 4th or 5th. [IMG]

Sure. So long as you promise to let Foo argue about why you are wrong. But be warned. He can use photoshop.
