There's a famous picture of Cary Grant (on the cover of 'Evenings with Cary Grant') of him in black tie sitting cross legged wearing loafers. I really don't like that look but some people excuse it as they reckon they are not a million miles away from slip on ballroom pumps but I have a hard time imagining Bond in dainty slip ons with silk bows. How would he conceal his throwing knife?

It was Brosnan either in Goldeneye or TND - I don't have pics to hand but I'm sure Matt will confirm!

Both! TND was a 5-button double-breasted. I'll eventually blog about that one, it's a most unique piece.

Yeah I love debate among fellow bond-o-philes. The Suited Hero book is OK but clearly rather than 'here are a few pictures of Bond in black tie' Matt is gonna go into much greater detail scene by scene. Bring it on!

I hope that most of the material focuses on Jaws and the Korean man servant guy...I love those guys!

Matt, I love the blog! If you can, try to include the new James Bond suits for the Daneil Craig Bond(ie: Tom Ford). Thanks! Keep it up!
