MTM on a budget in Europe, SuSu, Lanieri or Ateliers NA?

Hi,

This is my first post, so go easy on me ;)

Looking to buy a winter suit, heavy wool, flanel, tweed, something like that. Double breasted grey flannel would be great.
I currently own two Suit Supply suits, a green Lazio and grey Washington, they fit me rather well. I'm tall and lanky.

I'd like to move on to MTM, just as an evolution and I have a bit more budget this time around 600-850 euros.

I've found rather good information about Suit Supply and Lanieri, but not on Ateliers NA.
Their suits are fully canvassed and they're running a great promo where you get a second suit for free.
Some of the pics on their site are great, some very much not so. Does anybody have experience with them? https://www.atelierna.com/en_fr/

Thanks!

Ash

Why do you seek to move onto MTM of suit supply fits well off the rack? From my experience I would only go near MTM if off the rack items are not possible for you due to your unusual dimensions and you cannot fund bespoke.

Mostly for choice of fabrics and models really, but I'm not hung up on it. I will check the custom range of Suit Supply.
I'm also afraid of a sack look in double breasted, I'm very thin, but i'd need to try, I think they only have their "havana" in DB.

I'd try to find a good in-store MTM. You can get the alterations in house right after trying it on. What's more important, when choosing options for your first custom suit you can actually talk to a real person, get advice, tell them exactly what you want right there, without bothersome e-mail correspondence hoping and praying that they understand what you want.

That;s reasonable - more like ‘made to order’ than ‘made to measure’. I would recommend staying close to something you have tried off the rack but, as you say, on a different fabric or perhaps DB.

Yes, I'm only considering Lanieri since they have a store where I live. The people of SS have been very helpful in the past as well.
So I'll pop in both stores and see what turns up.

I'm thinking Lanieri for shirts and pants not suits, they aren't full canvass if that matters to anyone, it does to me.

In Italy there are so many great sartorias to choose from if you speak Italian or have an Italian friend it will help you immensely. Far better quality than any M2M website at a cheaper price even for bespoke suits in the south inc. like for like cloth.
