New here, but long time observer. I'm trying to decide between a few different options for my 2nd year of medical school. I currently have a Filson original briefcase in brown, but decided that I'm ready for a change. I typically don't carry a lot of books (maybe one or two). Usually just a laptop, ipad, charger and notebook. I tend to dress business casual on most days.

Can't go wrong with Billykirk. I've wanted that satchel in black for a while now. :(

I agree. Really a beautiful looking bag. But the dimensions might be a little small for my needs, and it might get some looks at a place where most people are in sweats or scrubs. As of now I'm leaning more towards the whipping post messenger bag as the most practical and stylish, while still being casual enough for my needs.

Definitely looking for opinions though.
