They mirror a 3625 last shoe in 10.5/11 well, but with a pointier toe. If you can't try a 3625 on, try a 026, and use that/go up half a size (depending on how wide your foot is)
I have both 3625 and 026. 3625 in 7.5G (or at least 8.0F) is the best of all. I guess I should go with 8 in Meermin Rui.
Thanks!

Anyone with well worn Meermin pictures?

I think that I could go up 1/2 a size & still get a pretty good fit. I'd add tongue pads or an insole if necessary.
The New Ray last is surprisingly narrow at the ball of foot and the toe is more pointy than in pictures. Size up ½ number. Wide feet fellows: don't bother.

Why give the foul advise on sizing up/down? Why force your feet into shoes not designed similar to your feet contour?

Bit of a double post (also in Oz thread) but for those looking for some sizing guidance and inspiration ... my Meermin's arrived today!

Fit like a glove (C&J 337 9uk and im a 9UK on the Hiro last) and quality great! Not as good as C&J handgrade or a Carmina but lightyears ahead of any shoes at the same price point. In fact these fit better than my carmina's (Simpson last 9UK was too tight across the vamp and 9UK robert has some heel slip now they have broken in)

Going to load up on more - do I go brown suede oxford or dubmunk??

Other Details
* Ariston glen-check/window pane S130s hand finished by P Johnson for RB
* Thomas Mason Silver line for RB
* Ralph Lauren Handmade in Italy
* Meermin Hiro last black oxford captoes

Looking very nice.

Regular Hiro Last or modified? GY1 or GY2 Hand welted?

In what aspect are they 'inferior' to C&J Handgrade/Carmina?

I would go for suede oxford, but that's just me.

Look forward to some pictures after a couple weeks of hard break-in!

Here's pictures of my Meermin captoes after about three dozen wears. Considering they have been abused a little and unfortunately had to be used to walk through some nasty surfaces, I believe they're holding up quite well:

They will look almost new after some polish and edge dressing
