This is sad. I grew up with their music and my dad loved to tell the story of how Peter, Paul and Mary came and hung out at an after-concert party that was held at my dad's apartment when he was a student at the University of Michigan in 1961 or 62.

Too bad. I saw them some years ago at the Hollywood Bowl and quite enjoyed the show. Haven't dug into my vinyl collection in quite a while but think I have a Greatest Hits album.

This deserves its own thread. Some deaths are important enough. The guy who found ways to feed countless people is important enough to warrant an obit thread; the lady from PPM is not.
