Why on earth would you every be sitting on your breast wallet?

No you wouldn't. That's why I commented on Fred's original post saying that I felt the Nomade was better for a traditional wallet than for a breast wallet:

Granted the breast wallet won't see as much wear and tear as a back-pocket bill fold, but my LV Nomade Marco wallet has an incredible patina to it.

twas a joke, nobody believes that an expensive appliance rather that a good chef can produce better tasting food. If they do they need to adjust the meds.

The Valextra grained leather in Verde Forte I've seen in person is a much bluer green than Hermes Laurier--verging on teal, even. Personally, i wanted more of a true green. Also, I don't like the feel of the leather. It is much stiffer and the grain is very artificial looking. It doesn't feel like nice leather to me, in contrast to the leather I've seen on other Valextra stuff. Meanwhile, I've been corrected that the Evergrain leather Hermes uses is a naturally grained calfkin, not embossed.

I see; will wait to make up my mind until seeing it in the flesh. In the meantime, thanks for sharing your impression - appreciate it.
