These Artista shoes just arrived from Toni Llobera at TLB. I think they are the same pair Jeff P has but in a burgundy (I think TLB have got burgundy just right). Grab a pair now before the price goes up!

Those are very nice. Did you have him custom make these? I don't see them listed on the website. The only one I see in that style is the one I got in the cuero (cognac) color...

I visited the factory shop while on holiday in Mallorca and loved them as soon as I saw them. I just asked if they could do a pair in burgundy and they said no problem; they arrived yesterday.

They can do all models in all leathers as MTO, no problem. Upcharge now is €100 for MTO. During the pre-order phase them and us retailers offered no MTO upcharge for people at trunk shows etc (like factory visits as well I guess).

For GMTOs with six or more orders there’s no upcharge either.

Thank you. I own multiple pairs of shoes (AE, Yanko, JFP, Alfred Sargent, Bally), but think that Alan F is my favorite. It has one feature that immediately draws attention which is slightly raised toe box. When you do the mirror shine it gives the additional surface to reflect the light:

I have a pair of TLB Newman on the Alan last, which I adore, like a much better AE Strand. It is funny, because when I saw the photo of your shoes I liked the look of the toe box even more, seeing it from a different perspective. I am very impressed with TLB.
