Gents,

For sale is a pair of Principes 2 Adelaide Oxfords from Antonio Meccariello from his outlet section on the Mayfair last (not usually available for his RTW or MTO shoes), built using his outstanding Argentum Welt construction. Unfortunately, the pair is slightly too small for me. I purchased them from a fellow SF member. There is some very minor wear for try-on on the soles (carpet only) and on the uppers (very minor creasing from try-on). The shoe box is slightly damaged in one corner. There are some very minor nicks from shop wear / being handled.

There are obviously no flaws on the pair, as one would expect from Meccariello. The pair was a prototype for his RTW range and can't be sold in his RTW section (different last), hence it was up on the outlet section. If you were to get the same makeup on one of his RTW lasts, the total cost goes to around USD 850 (Principes 2 model on any last + MTO fees + metal toe caps + shoe trees + shipping).

The pair is size 8E (UK). FYI this last appears to run very narrow - I typically wear 8E on the G&G TG73 and 8/8.5E on EG 82 and these feel even narrower. I would suggest that someone who is closer to a US 8D TTS (or perhaps a 8.25D TTS) purchase these, as I typically take 8.5D TTS and these are just a little bit too small for me. For reference, my sizing is as follows: Alden Aberdeen/Plaza/Grant/Hampton = 8.5D; Alden Barrie/Trubalance/379X = 8D; Allen Edmonds 65/108/201 = 8.5D; Carmina Rain/Inca/Detroit = 7.5UK; Carmina Simpson = 8UK; EG 82 = 8/8.5E; G&G TG73 = 8E; Vass P2 = 41; Vass U = 41.5. For a better size guide for Meccariello shoes, follow this guide.

Included are the shoe box, shoe bags, shoe trees, and, of course, the shoes. I'm attaching the photos from his listing as well as current photos taken just now (excuse the funky lighting - the color is more accurate in Antonio's photos than in mine due to my terrible office lighting). Here is the original listing.

I do not accept returns, so please settle on your sizing based on the above information before committing to purchase. Price is $595 shipped to the USA.

SOLD.
