^^^ The Artista lasts have some elements reminiscent of regular loafer lasts (sides of the opening slightly taken in, bit raised instep), although to a lesser degree. This is why it was tested doing the loafers on Goya instead of making a new loafer lasts, and feedback has been very positive. Sure, perhaps a little bit more difficult to get your feet in than loafers made on specialised loafers lasts, but the fit works very well, many seem to think it's the best fitting loafers they have.
