Anyone have any clue if these suits are in fact made by Caruso?

Are they fully canvassed?

Any way to figure out if the suit is a regular or long on Yoox?

Thanx in advance.

I'm assuming you mean MA & Co., there should be info on them in the archives here. I could be mistaken as I am going off memory, but I thought they owned the Caruso name/brand so they make Caruso, not the other way around. They are a large factory operation in Italy that makes things at different quality/price levels. What I have seen from them in the past is more than servicable, with some of it being very nice. Construction wise, I can't tell you if everything they make is floating versus fused canvas

yeah that seems to be MA & Co./Caruso. That suit looks like their cut and for the most part, if you are worried about quality, most RTW suits that come with basted sleeves are going to be at least of a servicable construction, the really cheap brands have not started that yet, unlike working buttonholes. Now that suit in particular, that strip pattern plus patch pockets looks quite ugly IMO.

There is no way to know on Yoox -- you just have to take a chance. Their return policy couldn't be easier though so if it doesn't fit, just return it.

there is no way to know, I would operate under the assumption that the model is 6'1"-6'3" and base your decision on how the jacket looks on him. Returns are easy with yoox

Spoke to someone at yoox a minute ago - she claimed that unless stated otherwise it is a regular...

how unreliable are they at yoox?

that sounds about right. You don't typically see "longs" in most of the Italians, maybe Corneliani/Canali here and there. Keep in mind though that "regular" means different things to different brands. I've seen 40R from different brands ranging in a back of the collar length of 30 inches to 33 inches.

Caruso usually runs long in the body and in the arms...if that helps.

Bit of a hijack here, but how are Boglioli and Piombo jacket lengths? I've been eyeing a few on yoox. I'm normally a R, sometimes an S (e.g. Corneliani's R is a little too long; 29-30" is my optimum length).

I ordered two, which showed up yesterday. Still debating whether to keep.
