Caruso usually runs long in the body and in the arms...if that helps.

This is so incorrect. If anything, Caruso is VERY short. Just look at all of the models pictures. Most size 38/40 Caruso sport coats and suits have a BOC around 29, which is VERY short. I ordered a 37L and it was only 30.5 BOC.

you must have gotten a newer model or just unlucky. caruso regulars have a BOC from 30 to 31.5

Read in WWD last year that umberto angeloni produces over 90 new models a season. We have had so many different models they're impossible to keep track of, but indeed most recent models are definitely shorter in regards to BOC measurements. The older flannels from Sartoria Parma (which we'll be putting on sale shortly) are definitely longer in general.

2. Slate Blue Flannel Herringbone: 22" chest, 18.75" shoulder, 29.5” length (bottom of collar down)

Apropos some of the questions on this thread, and the measurements, they are a bit short.

Yoox seems to button all buttons on all three button coats that it stocks, so it's hard to tell if they are a true 3 button or a 3 roll to 2.5 or 2.

Could you comment on that?

To be honest, I have a hard time telling the difference between 2.5 and 2. Maybe this pic helps clear it up? 2.5?



The top button on the other one is higher up, under the lapel, so seems a 3-roll-2 to me.
