I can't decide if I should send them back due to the discolouration and slight roughness on the back of the right shoe. It will probably be fine with a bit of brown shoe polish, but it's annoying on a brand new, really nice pair of shoes.

There's also the matter of what to wear them with, they aren't exactly plain

BTW, I have no idea if these are any good or not. I liked the design and colour, and clicked the buy button. Running a search suggests this is not a popular manufacturer so if anyone can offer an opinion on the quality of the shoes (and value for money), either from experience or the pictures, I'd appreciate it.

No comments at all?

If no one here as heard of them, I'm really going to stuggle to find out anything about them! Google isn't much help either!

Google's first hit was the brand: http://www.lucavalentini.com/ Who state the make women's shoes ... Don't like the look, but that's me. I'm kind of partial to EG 202 & 606's. They are most certainly blake, not a bad thing in it self, think even at the sale'd yoox price you might do better ...

The way the toe curves upwards strikes me as very odd.

The shoe is not a blake-mckay it is simply glued together. the toe spring seems to me as if the last was made for a significantly higher heel. The heel itself is plastic. If the shoe fits wear it but they will not hold up well.
