I have a superfuture x loopwheeler shirt that I still haven't worn or washed, just because I'm not sure of the shrinkage...
I am looking to get a nike/ loopwheeler tshirt, but I am considering sizing. Do the tshirts shrink a great deal after wash/dry? Do people get a size larger than their normal size?
Got some McNairy loopwheeler sweats that have 'dryclean only' on the tag. They are the small size but still pretty big. I want to shrink them down, but I'm afraid if I wash them I'll **** them up.
i dont have the nike but i do have a buzz rickson and my lovely studio d artisan's crews and i can say that these do shrink if you put them in the dryer. even on low heat. but the good news is they stretch back out fairly quickly.
thats strange it has dry clean only. are you sure its a loopwheeled fabric? it might be a blend of some sort.
I also have the mcnairy sweats - according to ACL they are loopwheeler. Holding off on washing until I know more about the potential for shrinkage. I'd never dry clean a pair of sweats.
do you have a link to this? i am interested in what it look like.
I agree with this. Logically it would seem they are all knitted on the same machines in Okayama with fairly similar fabric. I have a SDA and Buzz and they do shrink. I also shrunk my Buzz too much and thought I was doomed, but I washed it again, stretched it by hand in the arms and length, and it was even better than the fit to begin with. They are very easy to stretch back out when wet and then air dry. Obviously this is not Loopwheeler, but it would seem is similar since they are created in the same way.
