I am a 9.5 in Prada and an 11.5 in another brand that I cannot remember.

Finally found what I like and feel comfortable in

Cole Haan $106, 65% off. They are so comfortable, great quality for the price, with Nike Air.

Why aren't they? they are listed as them, not just at Cole Haan but at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Bergdorf and Saks

these are derbies (bluchers) - generally considered to be more casual than oxfords (balmorals)

They don't look too casual. I find it hard that BG and Neiman Marcus, along with the others would advertise incorrectly.

It's because most 'Mericans think that "oxford" means dress shoe; by dress shoe we think of pretty much anything black with laces. Check out this thread for some helpful info: http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/f...47&postcount=9

So lets say I go to a party/event/meeting with some haberdashers, will these shoes + a suit make me look like a, suit?

lol Americans pronounce 'derby' like 'durr-bee' when it is supposed to be like 'dah-bee'.

Probably not, because "suits" wear oxfords, and usually not brogued. Where did u get them btw? I curious since you price would put retail at 300, which seems awfully high for regular cole haan, cuz at that price you should be getting something that says cole haan collection underneath
