My Coniston's arrived today and I have to say they are beautiful looking shoes, just what I was looking for. One question I have is that the box stated the boots were received by the store in 2016, should I apply some renovator or cream polish as they have been sitting in the box for years.

Two pairs arrived in two different sizes, one thing that was interesting is that they are both tan color but the shades are much different. The pair I chose based on fit are more like a walnut tan and look really nice where the other pair are more brown.

Happy to hear you are happy the Coniston that I suggested! These are some truly iconic boots.

I wouldn't use renovator as it can be a bit harsh, just some bick4/renapur/neutral shoe cream would do.

Yes thank you for your suggestion, these are exactly what I was looking for. I dont have a neutral shoe cream but I do have light brown/walnut from saphir....will that work to moisturize?

Yes that should work to moisturize. Depending on the color you want to achieve you could consider different colour cream in future.

For the tan scotch grain of Pembroke/Coniston I mainly use the saphir cognac cream and I am really happy with it.
