I have been eyeing these for a while. I have been looking for a nice pair of boots that I could wear more casually.

I did post this in the "ask a question get an answer thread" but got little to no feedback. Please dont flame me.

They're not offensive, but they are too close to fashion Tims for me.

I wouldn't wear them but I think they're nice - if you like them, have at it.

That is a good point. I'd hate to be put in that category. I love the look of Clarks desert boots and have gotten a lot of comments on them but I HATE how the crepe sole gets soo freaking nasty so fast. Does anyone know of any companies that make the same style boot without the **** sole? thanks again

You should get those boots. they look awesome. Also I have found that a natural color oak leather sole like on those Redwings is not very common, it looks very good and unique in person.

I think Bobo has those or a really similar pair and I admit I looked them up when I saw them. Depending on how they looked in person, I'd probably wear them.

I'm a big fan of the plain toe Red Wings. And that color looks sweet.

I would love those boots! Havent gotten them myself since im uncertain of the size. I got the 2917 chelseas which has a similar profile and sole (not laced though) but I belive these have superior leather. The color is lovely aswell.

Yeah, the color is beautiful. This is definitely the model I like the best out of the Red Wings I've seen first hand. Never tried them on though, they were not worth getting for me at the time. I'm thinking about picking them up now though, but I need to figure out my size first.
