Oh, PS -- I got it for 99Euros exactly, so I guess about $145 at the time? Still seems like a better deal than what you can get at the Gap

Did the OP find a coat? I have one from H&M purchased in Brussels, Belgium in late fall 2007 that is grey, has roughly the same proportions as the original in the photo, but is darker, has kind of ****** buttons and isn't well insulated

prorsum is made in italy...

Does anybody know where I could find a coat similar to the one in the OP. I don't have a budget of $150, so please suggest anything similar.

Thanks

I guess I always thought 'Imported' was an automatic euphemism for 'Made in China.' Though since they're an independent company (I think) they're probably not made in Italy by sweatshop labor.

I didn't think the quality was up to what I was expecting out of a $1000 coat though.

The OP might have success going online and trying to find something vintage. It will probably come from one of these brand names and be even better made. I found a nice Christian Dior Monsieur double breasted wool at a consignment store in Des Moines, Iowa for $50 this past weekend, I'm sure those of you in more urbane areas will have even better luck.
