Lonely Island - Jack Sparrow - Michael Bolton's suit pin/clip.

Anyone know what Michael Bolton is wearing in his breast pocket in the opening sequence (walking into the club) of Jack Sparrow, at 0:45, ()?

Looks like some sort of clip, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. At first I thought it was an embroidered insignia, but if you look carefully at the video it's clearly attached at the top of the pocket.
