Linen or Silk pocket square

I'm going to get a new pocket square for my wedding outfit, should I go with white silk or linen?

My outfit is a morning suit. Charcoal grey jacket, the trousers are dark grey with black stripe with a faint buff color as part of the herringbone weave. White shirt and grey/charcoal tie.

Is simple best here? I saw a white square with charcoal trim yesterday. It might work but it might be a bit fussy.

Thoughts?

You could get easily small handkerchiefs in linen at brodery shops..

I have two in linen and 5 in cotton in several colors ( pink, blue, green, purple, white ) bought from a brodery shop, price $3 each.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what is a brodery shop? I'm not familiar with the term.

Sorry, i meant an embroidery shop

here there are some, and they sell thread, needles and patterned tissues for embroidery...

and they also have smaller handkerchiefs in plain linen and cotton , intended to do embroidery on them, but they make perfect pocket squares...

Here you have a pic

I have one in white linen and pink, white, blue, purple and green in cotton

$3 each at the embroidery shop,

they are smaller 12"x12" and fit perfect in my jaket pocket, the standard handkerchiefs are 16"x16".

You can save a bit of money by buying machine-made squares like those that lakewolf shows. $3 is a fair price, but do not pay the $13.33 ($40 for a set of three) from Brooks. Actually, those are sized as handkerchiefs and will be too big to stuff into one's pocket anyway. I sell squares with hand-rolled edges. You can see the difference here: For your wedding attire, this silk jacquard design would be perfect. The pattern is very subtle and the silk has a beautiful sheen to it. You will note that both squares are temporarily out of stock, but I am picking up the next batch from the workshop on Tuesday and will have more of both by then.

Something along the lines of what the OP was talking about... (excusing the steam-starved jacket, maybe too much pocket square presence, crappy camera, crappier light, etc.)
