Who can I buy linen fabric from?

I want to have either a blazer or suit made up.

Thanks.

E-mail them to check whether those are half width though, because if they are you'll need at least twice as much as you would normally need to make a sports coat. which is about 2 metres.

Gotta be double. If single, man that would be heavy linen.

Well, it depends whether the weight they're quoting is GSM or per linear (running) metre. It's typical to quote per linear metre but I have seen it quoted GSM. But I think you're correct in this case.

I often see Linen weights described per square meter but these are per running meter and about 148 cm wide.

As a side note they are buying Harris Tweed from the few small independents left - which I think is wonderful.
