Realistically speaking, we don't know anything about these jeans other than the price point and cuts.

They have them at the Washington DC location, along with items from their new collection that was on Gilt. Some very nice looking cardigans and shirts, and since they're tagged as x-slim, I'm sure the fit is spot-on as well.

Does it really matter? They're still overpriced, boring, predistressed jeans. perfect for the average brooks brothers shopper, not so much for anyone into fashion.

Lots of people like Levi's, whether they are fashionable or not. The washes look fine - there is a time and place for washed jeans and these aren't offensive. $150 minus a discount for American made selvage Levi's is a good price - especially since the price of LVCs is creeping higher and higher. Don't drink all the SF koolaid. I'd be surprised if they are selvage, however.

Yes, it was a serious comment. Made in the USA is very important to me. I don't like supporting third world dictators or sweat shops that chop children's hands off. And I don't wear jeans to be fashionable, I wear them to change the oil on my car. With a decent discount these jeans should work just fine.
