Hi Styleforum!!! i have a pair of levis 501xx lvc 1947 that are basically ds.. i got them tapered to slimmer fit so they fit like 511s-514s. i can give you measurements if you want. im looking for 80 shipped in the U.S.

by the way these are still selvedged and not hemmed just tapered to slimmer fit. the leg opening is 7 inches now.

IN addtion to the obvious question, about why this isn't in the FS section, if they haven't been hemmed, why do they not have the original chainstitching?

i think they have to open up the original hem to taper it. hence the lack of original stitching.
