Let's get the denim weight thing straight.

I'm going nuts reading people's take on denim weight and stretching. Some people say heavier weight denim's stretch more because there is more fabric so it will stretch more. Other's say it won't stretch as much. The latter seems more logical.

Do you know the weight of julian red cali's or Earnest Sewn Kyrres??

cali weight is 14.25oz, mine stretched but not a whole lot and have kept their shape incredibly.

i think tightness of weave and how tight they fit is gonna matter more than weight.

I agree, the tightness of weave makes a big different and how you wear them too. if you wear them hard everyday they will stretch more than if you don't. In my experience Earnest Sewn jeans stretch out quite a bit.

my 19oz sammies haven't hardly stretched at all, maybe a tiny bit in the theighs/seat over the course of several months.
