NYR, I wear so much in the way of sleeves and knee stabilizers when I workout, I look like a Tron character. We are, iirc, the same age, and years of martial arts and abuse have made it so my joints are all sort of achy anyway. I do find that fish oil helps, as does compression gear and sleeves, which keep the elbows warm and gives some additional stability (I think). That said, doing consecutive days of triple digits gives me a really stiff neck. I think that you'll find that practice pays off though. Before this started, 50 was difficult. Now, I do at least 4 sets in full sets of 10+, and after a rest day, or the very occasional 2 days of rest, I can crank out the first 7 sets with 10 or more reps, with the first few in sets of up to 15.

Damn, thats a lot...I need to get some sleeves. I do have two plates and twelve screws that hold my right forearm together (nasty compound fracture at a hockey game when I was 17) so that may be my undoing...

Love my sleeves. Don't really have any joint pain, but I see no harm in wearing neoprene sleeves on my knees and elbows. They don't take anything away from the movement so I see no reason not to wear them. Personally think everyone should wear knee sleeves for squats.

Need to start logging my pull ups again. Probably missed out on 1000 or so I haven't kept track of.

My metal plate was removed three weeks ago, but I have not exercised for about 4 months now. Managed to do 11 straight this morning and did 19 more in 3 "sets". I was in such good shape when I broke my arm 1,5 years ago. This thread will keep me motivated! Great idea.

I never feel like doing anything, but don't feel content until I've done them. C'mon guys. If a 37 (nearly 38) year old guy who likes pie a bit too much can pull 100 during the course of a full workout, you younger guys can too.

42 years here. I don't know but I don't feel like doing pull ups by themselves anymore. I always do them integrated within my routine therefore my low numbers. I just don't have the patience to do 8 or 10 series with 2-3 minutes rest.

Im pretty confident that I'll be able to do 100 pullups a day in a few weeks, but I have to take small steps first. Managed to do 5 sets of 10 this evening.
