Hi,

I would like some ideas on a nice leather writing pad - something that holds a 8.5 x 11 pad, a spot for holding a few papers on the left side. Will be used in an office setting. Would like something thin and light as I am looking to pare down what I am carrying (the Glaser 6" deal bag needs to lose a few lbs.). Looking for something of higher quality that will last a long time and age well. Right now using a black Tumi that has a zipper pocket, is somewhat padded, and has a wrap-around zipper. Very bulky.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Very cool - I didn't know they were making it. Looks nice.

Any others? Just looking for something cool, kind of vintage.

Smythson's in London probably makes something like what you are looking for, but if not, you'll still enjoy looking at what they do have available on their website.
