Does anyone know where I could locate the Rick FW 13 blistered lamb intarsia? Can only find it online at Hostem and The Corner Berlin, neither of which will be discounting it.

Is horse thicker than calf?

It depends. They are both quite thick per se but I have handled horse leather jackets that are quite soft. As an example, Zam has produced a soft horse leather jacket. If you are looking for a stiff, armor-like leather, both horse and calf should do.

Nice! Black suede or brown?

It's tagged black but definitely has a some brown in it. Whichever it is, I really like the leather. Deciding if it's too sausage wrapped on me.

What do you guys think of this Balmain jacket from fall 2013? I bought it for 50% off and now am trying to decide whether I want to keep it or return it.






It looks great in this photo but in person the patterned embroidery on the shoulders and the unnecessarily numerous zippers (which are a bit too shiny) might make it just a little over the top, in least for me.

Also, the lapel seems distractingly big, again, at least to me. On the plus side, the leather is of a very high quality (plonge I suspect), the lining is thick and warm, and I really like the ribbed patterns at the top of the sleeves.
