Real McCoys x the Armoury horsehide double rider. I spent several years chasing this piece down and have had the pleasure of wearing it for a couple months now. Some might recognize this as the one Simon Crompton wrote about on Permanent Style four years ago. It's been sold out for a long time but after much cajoling the good folks at the Armoury did another run. I wrote a detailed overview here but figured you all would appreciate the pics and update. TBD on how many tennis balls I can squeeze in here.

I always found this to be a great jacket. A subdued DR, because of its color and lack of metal adornment. It also fits you great. Terrific.

Picked up this LVC Suede Sherpa jacket during their ongoing sale. Honestly one of the nicest pieces of clothing I've handled. Would you guys recommend any particular suede protector?

You could spray it with Saphir suede protector, but I'd probably just leave it be and let it ride

Thank you! I agree, it's a bit of a rare bird. Not for everyone but I quite like it. Glad that it came back after so many years.

When I was finally ready to dive into leather a couple of years ago it was out of stock. So I went with something from Thedi, also in a chocolate brown - although its water buffalo not FQHH. I really like brown leather.

Congrats, the style and size look perfect to my eye! I wish they did a black version with silver hardware.

It's been a few pages since there's been any 5 zip discussion.

Has anyone tried on/own any 5 zips from the past 2-3 years? Do they still run slim? A lot of the sizing discussions have been for ones from early/mid 2010s.

Thanks! I remember when they first did this they had an "almost black" brown color that was also very sweet. They didn't bring this one back this time around though. They also have a black option now, but it's not a double rider (and same hardware). Good news is that there are a lot more options for black DRs, but I agree the design of this one is unique.
