Caught this LVC suede type 3 for a steal brand new with one problem: the snap fell off. Anyone know of a place on the east coast that could fix this sort of thing?

Other than that, really happy with the fit / quality. Very heavy and I think it'll break in nicely.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I think Advanced Europen Tailoring in Berkeley, California is good for leather jacket alterations and repairs. Superior Leather in NYC also has a good reputation, although I've never used them. Both take mail-ins. I would send them those photos and ask if they can repair this sort of thing.

I would think a cobbler can fix that. They probably do comparable repairs on women's bags. I would reach out to Leather Spa in NYC.

It's just a snap button, not a leather issue. I'm pretty sure any tailor can fix that.

Snaps are standard sized by line number and really simple to put on. Any cobbler or leather guy can do it.

Echoing a cobbler. I had the same issue (with denim though) and took it to 3 tailors, they all said they didn't have the correct tools. Cobbler handled it.

Bedo's Leatherworks in Northern Virginia if you're in the DC area. Steve is an excellent cobbler and also does other types of leather repair work, including relining jackets, replacing zippers and snaps. He also does a lot of work with high end handbags as well.

Anybody who knows anything about leather work can replace that snap in about 30 seconds. You want to pay for shipping I'll fix it for you for free but I am certain there are places right near you that will do it for less than $10. 0-1:30

I feel if you wanted to have the OEM LVC button back on, then a cobbler is the way to go.

If you wanted to take the opportunity and put your own twist on it and 'mod' it yourself with a personal button (good art hlwd for example), it might be a cool DIY. I don't think replacing a snap would be too difficult for you.
