I think the picture is definitely misleading. I had a pump and it was perfect lighting. I have a very similar build to @penanceroyaltea when you’re lean you just look a lot bigger. My chest is only 42 or something and my shoulders are 20”? I have a size 30-31 waist.
I typically fit in size 3-4 Japanese brands pretty comfortably

Falcon for the $ looks like a great option for you. I think overly stiff think jackets are more for enthusiasts /thicc Queens. A nice falcon dr in something other than black would look good imo.

Coming from a thicc Queen (I just learned I am this), I second this recommendation. Classic-based styles but on the more fashion-forward side, good customization for your Terminator body, and I think Charly lifts as well (the guy who runs it). A drop 12 is no joke.

if I had $3k to spend on a leather jacket I would try to find one of the Rick Owens violet horse mollinos from a few years back, or something from CCP or ierib, but I'm blessed with relatively scrawny arms.
lol. I have a CCP scarstich, it and fit me, a semi-athletic guy who has barely above average arm and shoulder size, tight thoguth the shoudlers and chest. There is no way one would fit him well.

I know this is gonna sound awfully ridiculous, but I just can’t get past the 1k for a m2m leather jacket... it sounds awfully cheap. I know that’s crazy for me to say, but I feel like a nice leather jacket is a statement piece.

also ccp is 100% not my style. I typically wear NMWA brands and also brands like EG, Visvim. I would most likely wear a leather jacket with nmwa brands like ikiji, camoshita, Fujito, blurhms, Naissance for example.

This is a silly sentiment. But you should just go to some stores and try stuff on. If you want to pay more there are more pricey mtm options.

If it'll make you feel any better you can send the other 2K to me

Eric, dont give him any more than half. You'll need atleast the fifteen to seventeen and a half hundred if you decide to shop over seas.

Falcon has higher end leathers that aren't on the website. You may be more comfortable with those prices

I thought ToJ jackets were OK. The hype was kind of crazy and I don't think it lived up to the whole "this is comparable to $5,000 leather jackets." I thought Bemberg should have been the default lining instead of satin, but that's a personal thing. Leather had marks, which back then was considered "good." But I've only seen their lambskins, and I heard their cowhides are too thick. I don't know what it's like now.

I can see it being good if you actually benefit from MTM. I admit, even though Drew isn't involved with FG, that whole debacle left a terrible taste in my mouth and I can't get over the connection.
