Least Funny Late-night talk show host: Spike Feresten

Has anyone else every seen this show "Talk Show with Spike Feresten"? It's on fox every saturday after Madtv.

I thought it was an extended MadTV skit lampooning talk shows because it was so lame. But then it kept coming back every saturday night with a slew of really crappy guests. I seriously had to search this guy on wikipedia just to find out who he was. Apparently he wrote for Seinfeld, the Simpsons, then a long string of failed sitcom projects.. and somehow he was rewarded with a super-lame talk show.

Has anyone else ever even heard of this guy? Am I missing something?
