I’ve left this much too late as I appear to be way too poor/picky to find a Tuxedo/Dinner Suit that fits all of my requirements. My main problem is that I’m very aware of all of the “rules” but my budget is fairly stuck on about £500-£600 for the suit, the fact I need this for New Year’s Eve likely doesn’t help!

Can anyone advise me on a decent/good(??) quality, Tuxedo/Dinner Suit that’ll actually look good and, importantly to me, actually last a good few wears?

I’ve looked at a lot of the normal dept store stuff in the UK (M&S, Next, Mr Porter, Boss, Reiss, Charles Tyrwhitt, Hawes & Curtis) and once you start discounting things that don’t fit my definition of a Tuxedo the choice is very limited (My Google-fu is also very weak!), it seems if you want to spend £200 there’s a lot of choice but not much at my price point?

I’d also prefer midnight blue which appears to make things even harder.

Thanks for any and all help!

Thanks for the reply & recomendation, that right there hits all the spots and is a brand I’ve never heard of. I’ll have a look to see how viable it’ll be.

Cheers again.
