Lapel flower (boutonniere)

+1 to fresh flowers in your home, and big ups for using them creatively.
Picture 1 is nicer. However, Kent, I almost want to suggest that you opt for something without a ticket pocket and ditch the pocket square. With fewer bells and whistles, the boutonniere could work.

I'm now opposed to ticket pockets, though I'm not going to throw away the two jackets I have with them. I'm still for pocket squares, but I think you have to use a very plain one to not distract from the flower.

Good point. I actually prefer the notch to be level with the shoulders. These are both RTW jackets; all my future ones will be custom.


In theory you could just lower the buttonhole used for the boutonniere. I wonder if it'd look odd.
