Oh I'm sure the consultants will explain how wrong you are.

JAB does have some decent product if you buy it from their bi-weekly-semi-annual-every-other-week sale. In the last couple of years I have gotten the following:

3 polo style shirts at $10 each
1 Silk oxford style shirt at $15
1 Courduroy (sp?) Winter Jacket for $25
1 wool sweater for $10
1 Merrino wool sweater for $15
1 pair of herrigbone pants at $15
1 lovely signature gold suit, grey tweed, for $99

That said, I do agree that most of it is overpriced crap...

But to bring up an AAAC line of reasoning, Vox: wouldn't the world be a much, much better place if every man dressed in JAB? I don't think you can argue that.

Wow, just wow.

Although maybe I'll pick up a couple camp shirts and a windbreaker from them, if the price is close to zero.

Also I thought with the AEs you can get the corp discount on them which is 20% all day every day or has that stopped?

Are work pants the same as office pants?

There has been a lot of Allen Edmonds activity recently, so a JAB thread was the next logical step.

Whatever, low cost dress style pants...most I work with wear jeans and polo shirts so even khaki's are a step up. I have a bunch of the JAB gabs and cashmere blends which aren't horrible.

Hmmm. I'm not too familiar with either, but I do know that JAB sells a line of fully and half-canvassed suits...at discounted prices of course. Does MW do the same?

JAB isn't quite as bad as MW. When I was a student, I wore an older JAB suit, and it was pretty decent. Their signature line is completely fused, but it's not too bad if you get it for around $200 or less. You could definitely do a lot worse. Their signature golds suits are half canvas and used to be made in Italy, but now are probably made in Mexico. The fabrics are decent, the cut is like a box, but it isn't terribly made. They go on sale frequently too, as with everything in that store.
