Looks like a medium quality saddle shoe to me. And yes, with a bit of golfing shoe thrown in! Certainly not for me. Maybe if I had a collection like Andrew A.

Here's a test. Are you out there aportnoy? Are these part of the famous collection?

Not even in the same ballpark, league, or sport, but I just recently picked up these saddle "sneakers" from Brooks Brothers and I'm loving them (or, loved them until I put them away for the Fall/Winter on Tuesday morning).

Those Lobbs are totally awesome. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking them up.
