I took my thumper jacket to the dry cleaner and I just discovered that the silver buttons are all scratched/messed up.

Anyone know if it’s possible to restore the buttons to how they once were?

Take a pic so we can see them, but if they are truly messed up you could try an enamel paint or model paint. There are tons of videos online, you’ll likely need the paint, thinner, painters tape just in case.

I'm so out on this season that I've been to LA 3x, and haven't made it to the store.

What have you been in to instead this season?

Can anyone comment on sizing for the Soccer shorts?

A much closer fit than the Practice/Game shorts. TTS worked for me, but they are a little snug in the waist, so size up if you prefer a more relaxed, baggier fit.

I'll be honest, I haven't bought much recently...Just bought a new house this summer and spent hella bread on new furniture. That being said, I like a lot of Aime Leon Dore's current season stuff, always into Alyx's interpretation of tactical/lounge wear. It's almost always black, but has some interesting silhouettes or design feature that makes it more than basic. Then there's some more out there pieces from Sacai's new season that I'm into. This summer I basically wore the JE Nogales shorts, the grey and black pigtail mercers, and these two Issey Miyake tees I have to death. All those pieces found their way into my bag on pretty much every trip.

All these Uniqlo comparisons are such a joke.

Why!?!? I have a load of Amiri flannels and they are nice, but they arent anything like worth the money.

I think if you did a blindfold test with anyone, they wouldn't know the difference.

Boots looks solid, how hard are they to put on? I imagine the laces get in the way of the zipper in the back?

Not bad at all. The only thing I can see being an issue is unwrapping and rewrapping the laces to get them on/off. They’re pretty solid in person. I always find combat or military style boots to be a bit too bulky, these have a slim silhouette.
