I honestly hate the material on the carbons. I have never been disappointed in Ksubi denim feel, but got tired of the chitch cut (huge drop crotch). Onyx are far and away my favorite washed black pair of denim I've owned.

I know firsthand that Onyx tends to stretch a ton. What about carbons? Size down necessary?

Carbons stretch and conform to your body better than Onyx. Onyx just run big, period. I’m a 32/33 and went with a 32 in Carbons. The big difference for me, between those two sizes, is the waste. 33 stretches too far after one wear in all other JE denim, even though the rest of the measurements fit well. The 32 has stayed close to my waist after 10-12 solid wears, and the slight extra snugness everywhere else has conformed perfectly.

Are Chitches considered drop crotch? Didn’t know that

Why do you hate the material?

Can anyone help me find the anthracite denim in size 34? I had no idea they would be this hard to find. I check ebay and grailed daily, hoping someone has a secret site that has them.
