Hey all - long time lurker, first time poster.

Searched though the thread but did not find much insightful info about cargos. Was wondering if cargo owners could help.

Considering the ones from this season and noticing many retailers still have them in all sizes (not just the usual s and xxl type thing). Is this because the general feeling is that the fitting is odd (I understand they run baggier), that the price tag is not worth it, etc. (or maybe it's just that retailers over estimated the demand)? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I wear a 31 in Cast 2 and rock a S in the cargos

Yes. Obsidian is sulfur dyed with a core white yarn. Pitch Black is reactive dyed black. They will fade minimally vs obsidian which is designed to fade to white / grey.

So a few of ya'll were interested in the Les Tien sweats that I ordered last week, and I finally got them in today. Here are my thoughts and some pics plus some other random **** lol.

My understanding is the ALD Drakes stuff is 20oz French Terry right? Is it not that heavyweight?

That sounds right, but my reference for what I consider heavy is JE's 26oz LA Sweats and FOG's Core Sweats. Both are noticeably heavier than this ALD stuff which makes sense if it's 20oz. but thats why I consider them mid-weight because Spring/Summer sweats are usually 16oz.

They are raw, similar to our other raw denim in feeling out of the bag.

Got another big drop tomorrow. Structure Wool sweaters are the heaviest we've made (no destroys here, don't worry). We're also debuting Pitch Black denim - raw black warp / weft that won't fade alongside raw Wheat which is slightly darker than canyon. Think you guys will love these products.

Somewhat similar. Slightly darker with an even finish. Canyon had some slub / flecks that these do not have either.

Yeah they are, which is why I brought up Obsidian's in the first place, because I felt like these would look like those but apparently way longer, which seems to be accurate based off Mike's response.

Way longer? Yes, they are like Obsidians in look but won't fade. They are raw black denim that is designed to not fade.
