I think the most important thing is the thighs. Seems like they measure the thigh about 1 inch below the crotch, so check that on a pair your like the fit of.

hey did you get a 28 for the cast coast ? and did you size down 1 or 2 ?

how tall are you and how much you weigh if you dont mind me asking ?

I'm 5'10" 155lbs, and I wear a M in everything JE.
I have a 32" waist and I got a 29.

Yeah JE is definitely continuing to impress. Really like the presentation of the jeans with the tags and the wash is up there with the best of them. would like to see a fit pic as well. I'm about 6' and am wondering if the combs would look weird since they would look good on someone thats 5'9. Also, can you say if the jeans are painted on (like many Dior Jakes look like a print over the jean) or if there is actual distressing and detail.

Our jeans shouldn't look that baggy. We recommend generally speaking sizing down at least 2 sizes in our raw denim. (For instance our model has a 31 waist and wears the 29)
