This is literally a Patagonia / North Face high pile jacket marked up 500%, with likely 99% poorer performance durability.
He posted the inspiration last week on his personal IG, it was def based off a Patagonia vintage fleece.

I like it, but I hate the idea that it is reversible, having a slick surface on your skin would make it feel cold, it should just be a straight up fleece or a fleece lined with something warm like wool.

Yeah this one seems to lack anything notable... reversible sail and reversible bolivia at least had some accents/lines to differentiate them.

They'd have to do something to the 100% recycled cotton they love to use to get it to drape and flow like the supima/modal blend.

anyone know what the hype is around patagonia? i see it everywhere on the west coast

They're environmentally friendly working towards re-using and conserving materials (sustainability). They have a great warranty and believe in repairing items instead of having their customers buy new ones. Their clothes are pretty durable too.
