Jeans and a sport coat

I assume that a more slim cut jacket would be the best choice for something like this? Any suggestions for brands/labels/places to look for something like this? I assume you could get a single like this for pretty cheap?

H&M sells inexpensive jackets that are intended for this purpose. They are slim-cut and have patterns/fabrics that work well with jeans. Prices are very reasonable as well; $60-100.

I have a particular fondness for wearing my oyster-coloured Kilgour French Stanbury camelhair with blue jeans, a white point collared shirt, and black monkstraps. Very nice.

If I am feeling gallant, I'll add my oyster fedora as well.
