Hey GS, I recall you posting a link to some jeans made by a guy in LA. Kinda of classic 501 style jeans with a plain back pocket. Maybe a motorcycle in there somewhere. Anyway, if you remember what it was, would you mind posting the link again? Thanks, mate.

Evil Denim was the name of the brand. IIRC he mentioned they were shut down by Levis.

fit is straightleg, slim but not skinny (very similar to slim jim) and selvage

it's one of my favorites and gets worn quite a bit. i believe it is $150 more or less

*Evil was the other LA local brand that got shut down as Minya pointed out. it was a '37 buckleback repro
