Has anyone heard of the new brand “Tejesta” - they are nearly copying JMM, even down to an almost identical wire temple design and west themed style. And what’s even more crazy - it seems like higher end optical stores are starting to sell them…

Since we’re on about JMM adjacent shades does anyone know ANY brand that does a chunky aqua blue frame?
I saw a pair of Black Optical Dealans (only 15 made IIRC) go on eBay recently for $1500. I wasn’t prepared to go that high as they are a niche colour as opposed to ones you’d wear everyday. I’d love something similar but it needs to be aqua BLUE. I’ve seen a few come close but in reality they are more turquoise or light teal with a greenish cast when I want these to be aqua blue. Any thought much appreciated!

Are you suggesting that simply because someone has the handle name 'Razor,' it automatically implies they are a troublemaker? The message in question doesn't contain any indications of inappropriate behavior or any reason to anticipate conflict. Instead of properly understanding the message, you seem to have jumped to the conclusion that new users are out to cause trouble. It would be more appropriate to approach the situation with an open mind and refrain from assuming negative intentions from others. Do better.

At the time of my original post, I didn’t think it was an unreasonable conclusion because there was a frequent and well known user on this forum who indicated he could only tolerate the new fella on an outside forum only, leading me to think the new user is a rabel-rouser…not based on a name. The well known user has since vouched for the new fella as a decent chap. Just a simple misunderstanding. No harm intended from my part. I’m just protective of the quality of this forum because it means so much to me. I have a real sense of ownership. I see myself as this forum’s guardian or caretaker, and I think I do a pretty good job at it. Thank you for your feedback and your understanding. My apologies and good will upon those involved. With that settled, let’s get to the JMM goodness!

Try kuboraum P8 blue. Not sure if that blue matches your specs.

I've never come across him before, don't even know him. He slides into my DMs on Instagram, asking me about the size of Quentin from the photos I posted from the trunk show here.

Then he wanted me to measure it with a bleeding tape. Like, seriously? That's a trunk show item, mate, I don't bring that sorta stuff home.

And then he wanted my number so he could send me his own photos? What the actual fu**k, bruv?

When I asked how he got my Insta handle, he said I was giving him a negative vibe. WTF?

And when I finally gave him my number, this tosser disappeared into thin air.

I chose not to reveal his full name.

I wasn’t picking up on anything suspicious from that fella, although nowadays you never know. I sometimes come off as too familiar with folx online because it’s my main way of socializing but I’m as normal as can be.
