I am with you there and lenses at my shops cost even more. That is the main reason I am sitting on new frames that have not had lenses put in yet. One day I will come to the realization that I should sell the frames.

I have the same issue. Even with ZoomerLens or online equivalents it’s still around $400 for progressive lenses. Puts a limit on what I purchase and wear.

Yeah I've been thinking about the new waves for a while. Dunno why I haven't pulled the trigger when they're kinda cheap. I haven't actually been able to try them on so that's what's giving me pauese.

Cool silhouettes on their website, I dig their overall look.

Akila seems to offer free returns. If fit is the issue, can always ask them to compare the fit of New Waves to the Zombie that you own.

OK, JMM society...

I really like my Dealans Noir 6 for "opticals", but my wife hates them!

I don't think I necessarily look better with them than without, I'd rather say I look different, but in a good way. They give some sharpness to my oval/heart face, and frame everything nicely (especially since I have smallish eyes and eyebrows).
Her, on the other hand thinks they make me look a lot older.

What does SF think?

Well, I did receive the correct pair of Molinos from Cettire, however they came in a Taos box, and a damaged one at that. They did not insulate the packaging in any way – just threw it in an open shipping box.

Some new stuff from Silmo... New frame called The Miglia as well as a new Indigo colorway.

Also, that mysterious frame that Jerome wore some weeks ago is a collaboration with Blue Note Records called The Herbie. Likely from jazz legend Herbie Hancock. Blue leather case and box looks great. Someone posted a full picture but they removed it so all I could get is these.
