Jacket sits low on neck

Hi,

I had a bespoke suit made and in the delivery date I noticed that the jacket collar looked too low. Right when I put the jacket on, it still covers some of the shirt collar, but when I move around a bit it goes down.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone had any thoughts on what is causing this issue and if there is a way to fix it.

What did they say about the collar when you pointed it out to them? Though I wonder whether at least some of the issue is that your shirt collar is quite high/tall.

It should not be up to you to diagnose the problem and propose the solution on your own or through asking people on the Internet.

You can try posting your question here https://www.styleforum.net/threads/...t-feedback-and-alteration-suggestions.265924/ though the professional tailors who reply there are pretty busy and don't get to all of the questions.

The tailor just moved the jacket up so it would sit over the shirt collar again and said that changing it could create a bump below the jacket collar.

This was last week and I needed the suit to attend to a wedding two days later, so I did not insist upon the matter at the time. Now, I would like to talk to him about it again, but was wondering if it could be fixed.

I will try posting in the thread you suggested. Thank you!
