Jacket Length

Looking for advice on the length of this jacket so I know what to look for in the future. Thanks.

Did you take a picture, recreate the image in colored sand, take a picture of that and then upload it?

Seriously the length looks correct for a traditional jacket. You definitely do not want something longer than what you have on now. A more contemporary jacket would be about a half to an inch shorter than that.

Looks classic length. Could go a tad shorter if you want a more fashion casual length.

Lol it was a dark room, long range shot that I zoomed in after the fact and screen shotted. So yeah, it's terrible.

Anyway, thanks for the response. I have a hard time gauging jacket length on myself for whatever reason, so I was looking for second opinions. And yes, I was going for a traditional length. Nothing trendy.

Thank you, I appreciate the response. The back of the pants sag a bit under the seat and my calfs really press against the back of the pants, which could be contributing the the look being out of whack. These adjustments are a lot of work

Thank you. I have researched jacket length quite a bit, but I have a hard time judging the look of the jacket when viewing it on my own body. That's why I wanted second opinions. The jacket in this picture looks about right to me, but it actually only covers about 90% or so of my backside. I am fairly tall at 6'1", my arms are slightly shorter than average and I have a long torso which makes OTR stuff a pain for me as I'm sure it is for many others. Once again, I appreciate all who took the time to respond.

The point of the linked thread is that there's a range that's not hard to find. If you're comfortable with it, along the general parameters noted in that link, then that's all that's needed. For the most part, one should not worry about a half inch up or down, etc.
